Published in The Paducah Sun, Paducah, McCracken Co., Ky., 3 Jul 2009 - HICKMAN, Ky. -- Thomas Kemp, 91, of Hickman died Thursday at Parkway Regional Hospital in Fulton.
Mr. Kemp was retired from Slant & Slant Factory in Union City, Tenn., and was a member of First United Methodist Church in Hickman.
Survivors include his wife, Josie Kemp; one son, George Kemp of Union City; two daughters, Marcella Parks of Tulsa, Okla., and Mitzi Cole of Union City; one sister, Mable Sue Lattus of Florence; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Mitchell Kemp; one brother; and one sister. His parents were Virgil Lee Kemp and Ellis Mae Williams Kemp.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Strong Funeral Home with the Rev. Henry Callison officiating. Burial will be at Hickman City Cemetery.
