Mrs. Daisy Lee Alder Garner of Oak Grove, widow of J. D. Garner died Tuesday morning in Franklin County Hospital following an illness of a few months. She was 77.
Services were conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Watson Funeral Home. The Rev. James Rippy officiated. Burial was in Mount Garner Cemetery, Decherd.
Mrs. Garner's husband, a farmer, died in 1960.
A native of Marion County, she was born December 4, 1890. She was the daughter of J. C. and Hattie Endsley Alder.
She was a Methodist.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Bob Abbott, Winchester; a son, J. D. Garner, Oak Grove; and a granddaughter, Donna Willis, Decherd.
