Mrs. Lockridge is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Bobby Lockridge.
She is survived by her daughter and son in law of Loganville; three sons and six grandchildren and 2 nieces.
Mrs. Lockridge is retired from Gwinnett County Public Schools after 25 years. She was a member of Mountain Park United Methodist Church. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and her loving friends, Elaine, Betty, Jackie, Ed and Carolyn; and her church family.
The Funeral Service to Honor the Life of Ruane Aaron Lockridge will be held on Friday, October 24, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Mountain Park United Methodist Church, 1405 Rockbridge Road, SW, Stone Mountain, GA. The family will receive friends Thursday, October 23, 2014 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home and Friday, October 24, 2014 from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM at the Church. Those desiring may make donations to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Ave, 7th Floor, New York, NY 10001.
