CLAUDIA JO HUGHES, 58, of Blue Springs, MO died Friday, February 17, 2006 at her home. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 22, 2006 at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church. Burial to follow in Mount Washington Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 21, 2006 at the church.
Claudia was born July 18, 1947 in Kansas City, MO to Claude and Lucille (Kadle) Everhart. She was a nurse, most recently at Independence Manor, before her retirement. She was a member of St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church.
Claudia is survived by her husband Robert Hughes, of the home; her daughters: Claudia Wright, Blue Springs, MO; Lucinda Marie Old, Independence, MO; step-daughter: Jacqueline Hughes, Overland Park, KS; Grandchildren: Alexis Biggs, Bailey Wright, Parker Wright, William McDermott; Mother: Lucille Yoergler; Sister: Lucinda Everhart-Rose; ½ brother: Leland Leroy Everhart and ½ sister: Donna Jean Leonard.
Claudia was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who courageously and lovingly brought joy to all who knew her.
