Edith Elizabeth Abbey was a daughter of Edward William Charles Abbey and Laura May Louisa Schaefer.
She was sister of Mabel Mary, Violet Margaret, Robert, Arthur Edward, Edward Bertrum, Laura May and Ida Dorothy Abbey.
Her family immigrated from England to the U.S. in 1911, via France through Canada.
