Newspaper dated 1-21-1904.
"Obituary" "As was stated in our column last wee Mrs. John Nailor died at her home in Melville township, last Tuesday, Jan. 12."
"The deceased was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A.J. Bruner of Exira, and was born in Audubon county, August 25, 1872. She grew to woman-hood in Exira and vicinity, and Feb.15, 1894, was married to John Nailor. Two children, a boy and girl, came to their home and were just beginning to realize the broad extent of a mother's love and care and to feel in a measure that they might require the love she bore them."
"She had been sick for many months and during all the time bore her suffering  with a patience and sweetness that proved her to be the Christian woman she professed in health. She was always kind and loving and solicitous for the comfort of her acquaintances who weep with those near to her."
"Words and the kindly sympathy of friends can ease the pain of parting in her husband but naught but time will heal the wound thus caused."
"Her parents and sisters were at the funeral services and her mother is still caring for the little children."
