ABRAMS. Charles Bruce Abrams, 48, of Perry-ville Road, died
Wednesday, August 14, 2002 at St. Joseph Hospital in
Lexington.

Born April 17, 1954 in Connersville, IN, he was the
son of Zora Dunn Abrams of Harrodsburg and the late Charles
Edgar Abrams.

He had served in the U. S. Navy and was a self-employed contractor. He attended Battle Baptist Church in Washington County. He was an avid Nascar fan, enjoyed hunting, camping and restoring classic cars.

Survivors, in addition to his mother, include: his wife, Denise Williams Abrams, Harrodsburg; two sons, Shane (Amy) Abrams and Matthew Scot Abrams, both of Harrodsburg; one sister, Sue Abrams, Harrodsburg; two brothers, Ronnie (Cindi) Abrams and David (Patricia) Abrams, both of Harrodsburg, and three grandchildren, Chayse, Ty and Hayleigh Abrams.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry and Ernest Abrams;, maternal grandparents, Raymond and Myrtle Miller, and paternal grandparents Cordell and Fannie Lakes.

Funeral held at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Williams officiating.

Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers were Daryl
Catlett, Bobby Gray, Joe Johnson, Tommy Brummett, Tommy
Barnett, Brad Gilven, Brandon Reed and Leslie Williams.
Honorary bearers were Aaron Mobley, Tebbs Moore, N. B.
Stratton, Jack Coleman and Mark Wilkerson.
