Mrs. Fitch had taught school in Wayne County for several years and for 17 years was Post-mistress at Golden Gate. She was an active member of the Golden Gate United Methodist's Church.
Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Melvin (Hazel) Carter of Centralia; a sister, Mrs. Myrtle Abby of Golden Gate; and a brother, Roy Johnson of Golden Gate.
Preceding her in death were a sister, Mrs. Ruth Bunting of Albion and a brother, Arthur Johnson of Ellery.
Born February 1, 1894 near Golden Gate in Wayne County, she was the daughter of Joseph and Alice King Johnson. She was married to George Fitch in 1927.
