Florence Rachel Byrd, daughter of Cecil Critt Mitchell and Ammie Rhoda Stratton Mitchell, was born March 9, 1908 and passed away on August 7, 1984.Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands: Samuel Adams and Edward Newton; one daughter Audrey Marie McCormick. She is survived by her husband Dewey Byrd, and two sons Fred Adams and Leonard Adams.
