Mary Katherine Trahan, 63, of Reeves passed away on August, 12, 2016 in a local hospital. Mary was of the Pentecostal faith, she enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mary is survived by her husband of 46 years, Leroy Trahan of Reeves; her 4 daughters, Melissa Trahan and husband Carl of Creole, Janella Mock and husband Terry of Cameron, Christy “Cocoa” Clark and husband Charles “Bucky” of Lake Charles and Sandra Trahan of Iowa; her son, William “Lee Bo” Trahan and wife Janna of Johnson Bayou; 15 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; her mother, Ophelia Marshall of Johnson Bayou; her sister, Faye Billiot and husband Don of Johnson Bayou; 2 brothers, Bill Burch and wife Linda of DeQuincy and Gus Adaway of Mittie; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Gus Adaway.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 15, 2016 at 1 P.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jack Gandy officiating. Burial will be in Head of Hollow Cemetery in Johnson Bayou under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 14, 2016 from 5-9 P.M. with visitation continuing on Monday, August 15, 2016 at 9 A.M. until time of the service.
