Mr. Adams was born July 2, 1970 in Dayton, Texas, the son of Herbert Adams and the late Virginia Faye Merrill Adams. He left this world to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at his residence with his devoted and loving wife, Becky, by his side.
Mr. Adams had been the co-owner of Alpha and Omega Pest Control for 13 years. He had lived in the Huntington area since 2006, and lived in Lufkin for six years prior to that. Mr. Adams was a graduate of West Sabine High School and an active member of Brothers Keeper Church. His children were his pride and joy, and he adored his grandchildren. Gary loved his Lord wholeheartedly, was a proud American, and a strong Republican. He was also a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys.
Survivors include his wife of 10 years, Rebecca “Becky” Adams; daughters, Jessica Benefield and son-in-law Zachery, Liberty Riddley; sons, Justice Adams and Colton Adams; grandchildren, Parker and Ethan; parents, Herbert and Mary Adams of Kansas; siblings and their spouses, Cheryl Pike, Cinda and Alan Keeling, Cecil and Noni New, Dawn Adams, Billy and Cassie Adams, and Carolyn and Robert McHaley; mother-in-law, Maggie Hudson; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Mitzi and Jeff Smith, Scott and Lisa Hudson, Mark and Colette Hudson, and Doug and Angie Hudson; brother and sister-in-law by choice, Dave and Melissa Sarver; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
