Clara M. Ablin
Fruitland--Clara Mable Ablin, 78, of Fruitland, died Wednesday at her home.
She was born Dec. 17, 1894, at Ellsworth, Wis., and grew up there. She moved to Montana at age 17 and attended Normal School at Valley City, N. D. She taught school at Oswego, Mont. She married Edward Henry Ablin at Havre, Mont., June 28, 1923. They made their home at Wolf Point, Mont., for several years. In 1931 they moved to their farm at Fruitland.
She was a member of the Methodist Church and Lorraine Chapter No. 20, Order of the Eastern Star, Payette.
Survivors are her husband of Fruitland; a son, Dr. Dale Ablin, Boise; and two granddaughters. An infant brother preceded her in death.
Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, Payette, by the Rev. Hardy Thompson of the First United Methodist Church, Fruitland. Interment with rites by the Lorraine Chapter, will be in Riverside Cemetery.
