Reatha Violet Allen, age 85, passed peacefully at her home in Amissville, VA on Wednesday, October 5th, 2016. She was born on June 28th, 1931 in West Virginia, one of twelve children of the late Steven & Nora Jane Lane.
Mrs. Allen is survived by her husband of 65 years, Russell Allen; two children, Janet Allen Garrison & her husband, Ray of Wimberley, TX and Jeff Allen & his wife, Lisa of Amissville, VA; three grandchildren, Alaina Cordina & her husband, Chris of Dallas, TX and Abigail & Bailey Allen of Amissville, VA; and one great-grandchild, Ryan Cordina of Dallas, TX.
The family will accept visitors at Moser Funeral Home, 233 Broadview Ave., Warrenton, VA on Thursday, October 6th from 6 to 8 pm and where a funeral service will be held on Friday, October 7th at 10 am. Interment will follow at the Amissville Baptist church cemetery in Amissville, VA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice, 400 Holiday Ct., Ste. 101, Warrenton, VA 20186 and/or the Alzheimer's Association, 3701 Pender Dr., Ste. 400, Fairfax, VA 22030.
