Jimmy was the son of Richard Ralph and Wanda Imogene (Riley) Ray. He graduated from Wapanucka High School with honors. Jimmy took courses in auto body in Sulphur, OK. Jimmy was a carpenter and did some construction work as well. He worked in Oklahoma, Texas, Georgia and Arkansas. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, W.M. and Minnie Mae Riley; brother, Bobby Ray Ables; uncles, Marshall "Junior", L. L. "Shorty", John "D.D." and Billy Joe; and aunts, Ledean Baker, Geneva Brown and Wilma Riley. Service will be held Oct. 20, 2016 at Brown's Funeral Chapel in Atoka, OK. Interment will be at Moore Cemetery in Clarita, OK.
