He is survived by his wife, daughters and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 15 brothers and sisters.
He moved his family to California in 1956. He worked for Johns Manville for over two decades, completing his working years at Lodi Unified School District. He was an active member of the First United Methodist Church and loved the Lord. He enjoyed reading about American Presidents. He was an avid golfer and proud of his "hole in one". In his later years he loved putting together jigsaw puzzles. He was deeply loved by any life he touched. All who knew him will miss him dearly. Viewing will be Thursday September 15 from 11am-8pm at Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home, 831 Industrial Way. Services at First United Methodist Church Friday, September 16 at 11am. A luncheon reception to follow in the Fellowship Hall. Burial will be private.
