Blanche Todroff, 74, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 13, 2016, at Lakepoint El Dorado.
Her family will gather with friends from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at the Carlson Funeral Home, El Dorado, where her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, led by Pastor Mark Somerfield. Burial will be in Sunset Lawns Cemetery, El Dorado.
Blanche was born on Oct. 9, 1942 in Meade, the daughter of Samuel Orval and Verna Ruth (Trefethen) Woltje. She is a graduate of Plains High School and has a business degree from Butler Community College. Blanche was united in marriage to James T. Todroff on Sept. 24, 1960 in Plains and passed away the same day Blanche passed away. Blanche had been a cook for several restaurants including Mitchell’s Truck Stop, Terra Mara, and Starkey’s and worked as a caregiver for the disabled for many years. Blanche attended the Assembly of God church and enjoyed doing genealogy on her computer.
She is preceded in death by her parents, infant brother Larry Woltje, brother Bill Adams, Jr., and son in law Charles Gaston.
