GLASGOW - Harry Palmore Abner, 73, of Glasgow died Dec. 14, 2006, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital.

The Barren County native was a member of Freewill Baptist Church and a former employee of RC Cola and Big G. Fertilizer Co. He was a son of the late Virgil and Cassie Glass Abner and husband of the late Jean Bringham Abner.

Graveside service is at 2 p.m. Sunday at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation is after 4 p.m. today and on Sunday until the service at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home.

Survivors include a son, Paul Abner and his wife, Diana, of Edmonton; five grandchildren, Jessica Edwards, Crystal Tomblin, Ricky Perkins, Melinda and Whitney Abner, all of Edmonton; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Billy Abner of Seymour, Ind.; and two sisters, Sara Smith and Shirley Walden of Columbus, Ind.
