Aubrey Dale GearyHARTFORD, Ky. — Aubrey Dale Geary, 87, of Hartford, passed away Saturday, Dec. 24, 2016, at Ohio County Hospital. He was born on Oct. 31, 1929, in Echols, Kentucky, to the late Grealy Geary and Lura Scott Geary.
Survivors include his wife, Mae Burden Geary; four children, Jerry (Lindia) Geary, of Rockport, Kentucky, Barry O. (Karen) Geary, of Hartford, Emma (Carl “Eddie”) Smith, of Hartford, and Lealin (Nancy) Geary, of Hartford; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and five siblings, James L. (Lou) Geary, of Echols, W.T. Geary, of Echols, Gordon (Kathleen) Geary, of Centertown, Homer (Peggy) Geary, of Brandenburg, Kentucky, and Alma (James) Goff, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky.
Mr. Geary was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Betty Lorine Goff Geary; daughter, Joan Geary Lee; granddaughter, Amelia Dawn Geary; two sisters, Dorothy Abbott and Birdie Farris; and infant brother, Elmer Ray Geary.
Burial will be in Echols Cemetery in Echols, Kentucky.
