Lewis Gene Abbott, age 83 of Conyers, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2016. He was preceded in death by his son, Lewis Glenn Abbott and parents Ernest and Iro Abbott. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Gene was owner and operator og Gene Abbott Construction, which he established in the early 1960's and helped build Leigon Field in Conyers.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 31, 2016 at 1 P.M. at Scot Ward's Green Meadow Chapel with Dr. Jim Martin officiating. Interment will folloa at Green Meadow Memorial Gardens.
