Forth years younger, Susan Abner was the 3rd w/o Theo Garrard although there is no marriage record. It seems she brought a son into this union, Shilo Abner, either out of wedlock or Susan was married 1st to an Abner....still searching.
After Theo Garrard died she is believed to have married Jesse Barrett.
"Almira Maupin 1822 had one son and 5 daughters with T.T. Garrard, Margaret in 1846 , Mary in 1847, Oran in 1848 …..T.T. Garrard first wife died after 10 yrs of marriage. He then had an arrangement with Almira Maupin, fathering all of her children. He married Lucy Lee and had several more children while still having Almira having children.
