Raymond E. Abell, 83, passed away peacefully at his home on January 18, 2012. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at 11:30am at Lohman Funeral Home Port Orange, 1201 Dunlawton Ave, Port Orange, FL. Raymond retired from General Electric after 35 years, the last 11 years were here in Daytona Beach, FL. He was a 32nd degree Mason, a member of the Order of the Easter Star #32 in Ensor, Kentucky also he was a 50 year Member of the Masonic lodge #729 in Ensor, Kentucky. Raymond was preceded in death by his parents: Harry and Elizabeth Abell; a wife, Virginia, brother, Leroy and two sisters: Virginia and Mary. Raymond is survived by his loving wife Janelle; sister, Audrey Porter of Owensboro, Ky; four daughters: Betty Keiser (David) of Owensboro, Ky., Sammye Dunn of Lewisbort, Ky., Martha Sue Abell of Winston-Salem, N.C. and Naydyne McQuiston (Joey) of Osteen, FL.; three sons: Raymond Abell (Kathee) of Orlando, FL, Charles Savary (Miri) of Puyallup, Wa. And Murray Savary (Denise) of Daytona Beach, FL; sixteen grandchildren: Adam Abell, Dylan Abell, lucas Abell, Daninelle Nicholes (Jason), Christopher Keiser (Missy) , Melinda Smith, Betty Sue Morris, Steve Dunn, Lee Wayne Dunn, Cari Horn (Robert), Charles Savary Jr., Murray Savary Jr., Tiffany Bowman (Paul), Anthony Holley (Victoria), Joshua McQuiston and Justin McQuiston; and numerous great and great-great- grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the American Diabetes Association . Arrangements are under the entrusted care of Lohman Funeral Home Port Orange.
