Mrs. Benmark 81 passed away Monday January 9, 2017 at her home following a lingering illness. She was born in Gladwin on March 10, 1935 to the late Michael & Violet (Near) Adams. She married Eldon Benmark on February 12, 1955 in Oberlein, he survives her. She attended the Community of Christ Church in Clio, Burt and Gladwin. Joyce enjoyed the out of doors watching the wild life around her home.
She is survived her husband of 61 years and their children Jeff Benmark, Debra & Robert Moore and Gary Benmark; 7 grand children 10 great grand children; a sister Marian & Jerry LaMotte. She was preceded in death by a son Rodney Benmark , a sister Alice Potter and a brother Rick Adams.
Funeral services will be held Saturday January 14, 2017 at 11 am from Sisson Funeral Home with internment in Sherman Township Cemetery. Family will be present at the funeral home on Friday from 1 to 8 pm and Saturday from 10 am until time of services.
