Ashland - A farmer of this community, William A. Davison, died at 9:15 p.m. Tuesday night at the Memorial Hospital in Springfield.
He was born in Shoals, Ind., Nov. 2, 1890, the son of Sanford and Etta Morgan Davison. He married Della Thacker in Jasper, Ind., in April 1914.
The deceased was a member of the Ashland Baptist Church.
Survivors include; his wife, three sons, William Howard, Russell and James L., all of Springfield; two daughters, Mrs. Mildred White of Ashland, Mrs. Mary Lee Turner of Jacksonville; two brothers, Charles of Cusco, Ind., and Harry of Salisbury, N.C.; five sisters, Mrs. Alvin Quackbush, Mrs. Sam Quackbush, Mrs. Ethel Abel. all of French Lick, Ind., Mrs. W. W. Littlefield and Mrs. Lucy Telford of Louisville, Ky.
Burial will be made in Ashland Cemetery.
