Steve William Abney, age 67 of Franklin, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, February 07, 2017 at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. He was a Logan County native born September 4, 1949 to the late George Abney and Hazel Noe Abney. He was a farmer and a US Army Vietnam Veteran and he was of the Mormon faith. He was a lifetime member of the VFW and member of the DAV, American Legion and the 11th Armored Calvary's Veterans of Vietnam and Cambodia.

Funeral Services for Steve William Abney will be conducted at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Bro. Johnny Fuller officiating with burial to follow in Sulphur Spring Cemetery.
