Antoinette "Bae" Ingrivaglia Abadie peacefully passed away in Covington, Louisiana on Saturday, February 4, 2017, at 88 years of age. She was born in New Orleans on September 11, 1928, and resided in Chalmette and Meraux until Hurricane Katrina. She resided in Mandeville for past 11 years.

Bae was the loving wife of the late Eugene L. Abadie, Sr. by second marriage for 35 years and the late John J. Vidacovich, Sr. by first marriage. She was the daughter of the late Leonardo Ingrivaglia and Laura Cardenia Ingrivaglia and the sister of the late Jeannette I. Chopin and Leonard F. Ingrivaglia, Jr.

She was the devoted mother of John J. Vidacovich,Jr., mother-in-law of Deborah Vidacovich, grandmother of Laura Vidacovich and Eugene L. Abadie, III, and the great-grandmother of Christopher, Nina & Rowan Abadie.

She leaves behind many loving family members to cherish her memory: sister in law Gae Ann Ingrivaglia, nieces Jill I. Hogan (Tim) and Gae Lynn I. Cavalier (Gregory), nephews Anthony Chopin, Jack Chopin, and Bob Chopin (Tonette), Joe & Ysonde Raymond, who was like a daughter to her, and her godson and his wife Ronnie & Brenda Stigler. She was predeceased by her nieces Julie Ann Ingrivaglia and Beth Ann I. Brackett.

Bae was the general manager of the Tamanaca Hotel and the Dauphine Orleans Hotel for many years before her retirement. She was the queen of the Gladiators Carnival Club in Chalmette in 1978, and president of the board of St. Bernard Manor and served on the board at the Roquette Lodge.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Forest Manor Nursing Home, notably nurse Willy, St. Tammany Parish Hospital, and St. Catherine's Hospice for the loving care they gave her during her final days.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend graveside services on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery #3, 1401 Louisa Street.
