Funeral services for Lawrence "Larry" Aalberg will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at St. Theodore Catholic Church, Albert Lea. Father Russell Scepaniak will officiate. Visitation will be held from 5 – 7 PM on Monday at Bonnerup Funeral Service, as well as one hour prior to the service at the church. Military honors will be accorded by the Albert Lea Area Veteran's Organizations.

Lawrence Carter Aalberg passed away on March 3, 2017 at the Good Samaritan Society in Albert Lea. He was 82 years old. He was born on May 24, 1934 in Sioux Falls, SD to Hobert and Mary (Carter) Aalberg. Lawrence attended school in Sioux Falls, and then enlisted in the South Dakota Air National Guard in 1956, serving for 6 years.
Larry was united in marriage to Juliette Canuel on September 29, 1956 at St. Joseph Cathedral in Sioux Falls. He was a member of St. Theodore Catholic Church in Albert Lea. Larry enjoyed hunting, fishing, and wood-working.

Larry is survived by his wife, Julie; children, Greg (Melinda) Aalberg, Alice (Ed) Nemec, Sharon (Matt) Wangen, and John (Wendy) Aalberg; grandchildren, Analissa (Brett) Berkemier, Michelle, Nikki, Eddie, and Amy Nemec, Mary, Elizabeth, Joshua, and Rachel Wangen, Vanessa Lynn, Chase Coleman, Stacey Lynn, Tracey Lynn, and Crystal Cox; and a great-grandson, Breck Nemec.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; a daughter, Julie Marie and a son, Alan Bruce.
