Willard George "Bill" Lockman, 88, passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at the Platte County Memorial Hospital in Wheatland.
Bill Lockman was born in Torrington, Wyoming on September 30, 1928 the son of David and Eva (Mitchell) Lockman.
He received his education in Fort Collins, Colorado and lived in the area until he moved with his family in 1936 to Wheatland where he continued his education. Bill married Ruby Murphy on January 16, 1994 in Wheatland. Bill's greatest love was farming and raising cows.
He is survived by his wife Ruby of Wheatland; son, Rodney Lockman; step-children, Donald Quick, Carl Quick, and Daleda Breede; brother, Robert Lockman; four grandchildren, Dustin, Ashlee, Zachary, and Sheridan; four great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Ray, Ben, Laura, Irene, Wilma, and Mary; and first wife, JoAnn.

Funeral service for Willard George "Bill" Lockman, 88, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 11, 2017, at Memorial Baptist Church with the Reverend Mark Porter officiating. Interment will be at Wheatland Cemetery. He died Wednesday, March 8, 2017, at Platte County Memorial Hospital in Wheatland, Wyoming. Gorman Funeral Homes--Platte Chapel is assisting the family.
