REDWOOD CITY, Calif. — Donna (Krocker) Aaro, 67, Redwood City, Calif., a former Streator resident, died at 9 a.m. Tuesday, July 9, 2002, in her home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Anthony of Padua Church. Monsignor Jerome Ham will officiate. Music will be provided by Melissa Peters, organist, and Margaret Mary Yuhas, vocalist. Selections will be "Ave Maria," "The Lord's Prayer," "On Eagles Wings," and "Wind Beneath My Wings."

Burial will be in St. Anthony Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons Bart and John Wolfe, Jesse Danley and Kyle Talty; and nephews John Hamara Jr. and Edward Wolfe. Honorary pallbearers will be nephews Jim Hamara, and Dan and Kurt Kotansky.

Visitation will be 9-10:45 a.m. Tuesday at Hagi Funeral Home.

Born Dec. 4, 1934, in Streator, she was the daughter of John and Dorothy (Porter) Krocker. She married John "Bart" Wolfe, who died Sept. 30, 1990. She married Norman Aaro, May 20, 1984, in Redwood City. He survives. Also surviving are a son, Gerald Wolfe, rural Streator; daughters, Kathleen (Mrs. Kenneth) Talty, rural Streator; Janice K. (Mrs. Steven) Danley, Carbondale; and Susan M. Neiwoehner, Stockton, Calif.; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Norma (Mrs. John) Hamara and Juanita (Mrs. John) Kotansky, both of Streator; and Sharon (Mrs. Robert) Hoverson, Cincinnati, Ohio; and a brother, John Krocker Jr., Arizona. She was preceded in death by her parents.

She was a graduate of Streator High School.

She was a resident of Redwood City since 1980 and was employed by Hewlitt-Packard Company.

A member of the Altar and Rosary Society of Annunciation Blessed Virgin Mary Church, Eagle Township, she was currently a member of St. Pius Church, Redwood City, Calif.
A member of the Streator Emblem Club, where she formerly served as president, she was currently a member of Sunnyvale, Calif. Emblem Club.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Lymphoma Society or to the Lions Eye Foundation.
