Married John "Jack" Simon in 1951 in their hometown of Quincy Illinois.
Served on the church choir and as a Sunday school teacher at Salem Evangelical church in Quincy Illinois. She also served in the church Women's Guild, Couples Club, and Fellowship Club.
Mrs. Simon volunteered with the Quincy Jaycettes, Good Sam Placematters, Great River Genealogical Society, and with the 4-H club in Ursa Illinois, as its 4-H leader. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority. She also belonged to the "Camper Stampers," and Quinsippi Holiday Ramblers. At the latter club she received its "hitch ball" award for dedicated service.
Her pastimes included camping, genealogy, and spending time with her family. With her husband, Mrs. Simon traveled each of the states in the continental U.S.
