Henry Hugh Acker passed away March 4, 2017 at NMMC-Tupelo at the age of 79. He was born February 23, 1938 in Eupora to the late Hazel Burton and Gardner Acker. He was a veteran of the US Army and a member of West End Baptist Church and attended Vibrant Church because he loved the music. He was a welder at B&W for 44 years. .

Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-7 PM at Robinson Funeral Home. A private family graveside service will be at a later date with Rev. Jud Robinson officiating.

He is survived by his sons, Mike Acker (Valerie) of West Point, Terry Acker (Julie) of Guntown; daughter, Sandra Acker of Brandon; sister, Ruby Martin of Pearl; 2 Grandchildren, Ashley Acker (Will), Alicia Hearns (Will); step grandson, Ben Geddes; 3 great grandchildren, Landon, Mary Adalyn, and Lillian Hearns; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mary Acker; sister, Bertha Steverson; brothers, Charlie Acker, William Acker; great grandson, Brayden Hearns.
