DODGE CITY--- Mona J. (Murray) Abney, 80, died March 23, 2017 at Hays Medical Center, Hays, KS. She was born on February 19,1937 at Pratt, Ks, the daughter of Mike and Maxine (Kimberling) Murray.
Mona was born and raised in Pratt where she graduated from Pratt High School. She attended Pratt Community College. On March 25, 1966 she married C.W. Abney at Dodge City. She was a community life instructor at Arrowhead West.
She was survived by her son, daughter, two grandsons, and granddaughter.
Graveside service will be at Maple Grove Cemetery on March 31, 2017 at 2:00 p.m.
