Alice Sue Lacy Adams of West Liberty, KY, passed away Sunday, March 26, 2017, at Morgan County ARH, West Liberty, KY, at the age of 76 years, 3 months, & 1 day. She was born Wednesday, December 25, 1940 at West Liberty, KY, daughter of the late Bernard Paul Lacy & Polly Nickell Lacy Bradley.

Alice Sue was united in marriage to Lexie Geneau Adams on February 28, 1958, and they were married 54 wonderful years. They were blessed with two children, David Keith & Cynthia Jane. She was a retired book-keeper. She was a Christian and was a member of the Lacy Creek Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lexie Adams; her son, David Keith Adams; and two brothers, Robert Dale Lacy & Larry Joe Lacy.

She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Jane Atwood & husband, James Alexander of Saint Simons Island, GA; three grandchildren, Angela Dawn Scalf & husband, Brian, Sara Renee Mays & husband, Tim, all of West Liberty, KY, and Cameron Atwood of Saint Simons Island, GA; three great grandchildren, Mackenzie Brooke Gibbs, Braydon Joseph Mays, and Kaitlyn Alexis Mays; two step grandchildren, Jason Atwood & wife Meredith of Roswell, GA and Melonie DeGuire of Midlothian, TX; five step great grandchildren; one daughter-in-law, Gail Dewitt of West Liberty, KY; one sister & one brother, Joyce Brantley & husband, David of Cornith, KY and Glen Bradley & wife, Mindy of Dallas, TX; one special sister-in-law, Brenda Litteral Lacy of West Liberty, KY; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral service 11 a.m., Thursday, March 30, 2017 at Potter Funeral Home with Bro. Rick Pelfrey & Elder Jimmy Adkins officiating. Burial to follow in the Williams & Adams Cemetery, Jones Creek Road, West Liberty, KY. Visitation from 6- 8 p.m., Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at the Potter Funeral Home.

She wanted to give a special thanks to LeeAnn & Judd McCowan, Nadine Minix, Janice Williams, Wilda Adams, her special cousin, Linda Nickell, and the Lacy Creek Church of Christ.
