Peggy Aileen McLaughlin, 68, of Tecumseh, passed away Friday, March 31, 2017 in Tecumseh, NE.  She was born to Alvin Albert Abbott and Bessie Marie Thompson on May 20, 1948 in Nebraska City, Nebraska.  She was united in marriage to Larry Francis McLaughlin in 1965 in Tecumseh, Nebraska. They later divorced. They are the parents of Larry and Joseph.
Peggy worked as a CNA in Iowa for many years.  She moved back to Nebraska to be closer to family several years ago.  Peggy loved animals, crafting and reading.
She is survived by her sons, Larry McLaughlin, Jr. and Joseph "Paul" McLaughlin, 3 grandchildren, Christopher, Joshua and Rochelle, 3 sisters, Lora Boshears, Barbara Robertson and Jeannie Hurtado, great uncle, Wayne Lee Thompson and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Private family graveside memorial services will be held at the Spring Creek Cemetery, rural Tecumseh, at a later date.
