Douglas Adams of Woodfin, age 91, went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, March 28, 2017. He was born August 16, 1925 in McDowell County, N.C. and died March 28, 2017 in Asheville, N.C.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gaye and Aldi Corn Adams and and brother, Author Adams of Madison County.
He was survived by his wife of 57 years, Kay Adams, one sister, Betty Gaddy of Burnsville, two brothers, Hartsel Adams of Asheville and Doyle Adams of Marion.
He retired from Biltmore Estate.
His memorial service was held on April 8, 2017 at 1:00pm at Asheville Area Alternative on 702 Riverside Drive Asheville, NC. The service was conducted by Tyler Penland of Edgemore, SC.
