Mr. Pike was born January 26, 1944 in Heard County to the late Isaac Pike and Sara Lee Daniel Pike. He was Methodist by faith.
Although stricken with an illness that rendered him disabled, he continued to stay active. He liked to work with his hands, and he especially enjoyed carpentry. Bookcases were one of his specialties. He also liked to work in his garden.
His most precious moments were times spent with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He loved to go camping and fishing, and having his family with him made those trips all the more special.
Survivors include two daughters, Carla Jackson (Matt) of Fairburn and Windy Wise of Five Points, AL; two sons, Gary Pike (Sheila) of West Point and Steven Pike of Franklin; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Nina Jo Cosper of Franklin; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
