Aho, David Emil "Flash" Aho, age 68 of Whitefish Bay, WI entered eternal life peacefully on Sunday, March 20, 2016. He was born on September 30, 1947 in Calumet, Michigan; the eldest son of Emil and Bernice Aho.

He married his wife Kathleen on October 13, 1984 and from that day forward enjoyed a marriage rich in God's blessings.

David served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Vietnam. He made many everlasting friendships during his 30 years of employment as a Financial Analyst with the Department of Housing and Urban Development before this retirement in 2012. David was a Christian man who loved God above all and lived his faith daily through his words and actions. He enjoyed Bible study, sports (he was an avid Michigan fan) and golf.

The true joy of his life was spending time with his beloved wife, and cat Toby. He had a special place in his heart for children and thoroughly enjoyed his many nieces, nephews and children in the neighborhood.

He was preceded in death by his loving parents, dear brother Ron and his beloved sister-in-law Debbie Ahrens.

David is survived by his wife Kathy of 31 years, sister Wendy (Glen) Lampela of Gladwin, Mich., sister-in-laws, Sue Sticka of Middle Inlet, WI and Kitty (Derick) Paider of Crivitz, WI; brother-in-law, Steve Ahrens of Middle Inlet, WI; an aunt, Dorothy Robinson of Livona, Mich. God daughters include Mikki Harding and Marissa Hoagland. He is further survived by five nieces and nephews and seven great nieces and nephews.
