Thomas C. Abbey, 88, formerly of 905 St. Julian, died Monday, Feb. 1, 1999, at Pekin Living and Rehabilitation Center.
Born Jan. 13, 1911, in Peoria to Thomas I. and Anna J. Foley Abbey, he married Catherine L. Harms on July 19, 1947, in Pekin. She survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, JoEllen White of Eau Claire, Mich.
Two sisters and one brother preceded him in death.
He was a World War II Army veteran. He worked for Hiram Walker as a supervisor and later at Commonwealth Edison as a mechanic for 20 years.
Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens.
