Rockville resident. Passed away Sunday at the home of his daughter.

Son of Marvin D. and Dora Belle Henson Cotham.
Married Nina Edmonds October 24, 1952. She survives.
Also surviving are daughters Beverly (Wayne) McPherson, Vickie (Dennis) Lynd and Donna (Bill) Curry; sisters Betty McCameron and Mildred Barthlamees; 9 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 5 sisters, 10 brothers, 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Attended school in Thayer, MO.

Served as a Cpl. in the US Army during the Korean War.

As a young man he went to wok on his father's farm.
Had his own company of drywall finishing to provide for his family.

He delighted in hunting, fishing and being with his grandchildren.

Marvin was a devoted member of the Church of Christ and a lifetime member of the VFW in Pontiac, IL.

Funeral service 2pm Friday, June 9 at Shoemaker Fuenral Home. Waynetown, officiated by his grandson Nathan Lynd.
Graveside military honors.
Visitation 1 hour prior to the service.
