The native of Tolland, Mass., had made his retirement home in this city at 360 Fortuna Ave., since 1965. He was a constable in Torrington, Conn., for 10 years before moving to Huntington Park where he was employed as a plumber until his retirement.
Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St Anthony's Catholic Church and burial will be made in Calvary Cemetery in Merced.
Mr. Vercellini is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Mary Abraham, Mrs. Elizabeth Fabbri and Mrs. Vera Abruzetti, all residents of this city,
