Herschel O. Aaron age 57, a Gary resident passed away peacefully Friday February 5, 2016. He was an employee of Lake County with 20 years of service. Herschel was a member of St. Luke A.M.E. Zion Church in Gary, Indiana. He was a graduate of Gary Roosevelt High School class of 1977. Preceded in death by father Willie Aaron, grandfather Henry "Baby Joe" Johnson, his great-grandparents Jethro and Anna Bell McComb and best friend Mike Rooks.
Visitation Saturday, February 13, 2016 from 9-10:00 a.m. Family hour 10-11:00 a.m. with funeral immediately following at 11:00 a.m. all services at St. Luke A.M.E. Zion Church 1300 Jackson Street. Rev. Donald James officiating. Interment Evergreen Cemetery.
