Deborah Kay Aaron, 48, of Forest Hills, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, May 13, 2004, at Appalachian Regional Hospital.

Born August 30, 1955, in Columbus, Ohio, to the late Edmond Gene Blackburn and Ruby Lois Blackburn.

Debbie was the Office Manger for Diane E. Shafer MD, Orthopaedic Surgeon for many years. She enjoyed seeing the patients and helped many people with their Workers Compensation Paperwork. She formerly worked at Pikeville Methodist Hospital. She was a member of Belfry First Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband of 28 years, Roland Dean Aaron; daughters, Amanda Ruth Gauze of South Williamson, Kentucky and Jennifer Grace Aaron of the home in Forest Hills, Kentucky; brother, Keith Blackburn of Forest Hills, Kentucky; sisters, Sandy (Jim) Virse of Georgetown, Kentucky and Bobbie Blackburn of Georgetown, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Kayla, Stephanie and Ruby Jada Gauze; and special friend, Kay Hatfield Blackburn.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 16, 2004, 2 p.m., at Rogers Funeral Home with Elder Jerry McCoy officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain View Memory Gardens, Huddy, Kentucky Her family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday night at the funeral home.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Rogers Funeral Home, Belfry, Kentucky
