Bette E. Robson
Bette E. Robson died Feb. 16, 2001, at home in Washougal. She was 75.
Robson was born Dec 14, 1925, in Iola, Kan., to Howard and Berniece Abbe. She moved to Camas in 1938 and married Maurice Robson on Feb. 7, 1957. Robson worked at Orchard Hills County Club before becoming a full-time homemaker and helping out on the family farm. She was a people person who enjoyed shopping, bowling, and working in her flower garden. Robson was also a member of the Fern Prairie Grange.
She was preceded in death by her son, Gerald Wayne in 1962; daughter, Sandra Kay in 1991; brother, Robert; and sister, Beverly.
Robson is survived by her husband Maurice, at home; sons, John Graham of Camas, Thomas Graham of Vancouver; brothers, Howard Abbe of Dundee, Ore., David Abbe of Portland, Ore., sisters, Patricia Wing of Washougal, Ruth Robson of Camas, Nadine Robson of Camas; eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m., at Straub's Funeral Home in Camas. Burial will follow at Washougal Memorial Cemetery.
