Nicholas R. Santoro, 95, was the son of the late Frank and Laura (Cuomo) Santoro and a graduate of Draper High School. A carpenter by trade, Nicholas worked for the General Electric Company for over 28 years before his retirement in 1979. A WWII Army veteran, he was a member of the GE Quarter Century Club, former member of the Knights of Columbus, a master cabinet and furniture maker and a recipient of the Key to the town of Rotterdam on his 80th birthday for civic service. Nicholas was predeceased in 1989 by his wife of 47 years, Genevieve (Grubalski) Santoro. He was also predeceased by his brothers, Paul, Ralph and John Santoro; and sisters, Ann Tricozzi , Lucy Pacelli, Elizabeth Abbatiello, Mary DeMatteo and Rose Stanco. Nicholas is survived by three children; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
