ROBERT ABBATICCHIO of New Smyrna Beach, FL. He was born in Ellwood City, PA. Robert graduated from the University of Pittsburg, was a member of ROTC, was a U.S. Air Force veteran stationed at McCoy AFB where he flew fighter jets. While in Orlando, he married Taffy McInvale, moved back to PA and assumed ownership of the Abbaticchio Agency, Real Estate and Insurance office. After 9 years, they moved back to Orlando, where he was a general contractor and, then, retired to New Smyrna Beach. Preceded in death by siblings, John, Martin and Paula Zamule, surviving are his wife, Taffy McInvale Abbaticchio; son, Cameron (Suzanne); grandson, Blake (Brittany); great-grandsons, Carter and Tanner; daughter, Leslee Long and granddaughters, Devon and Shannon Long and son, Eric (Jacci) and grandchildren, Zachary, Alicia and Teresa Shumard and sister, Elizabeth (Rich) Graham. A memorial service will be held December 13, 2017. Published in the Orlando Sentinel September 30, 2017.
