Daughter of Oscar Kenning and his wife, the former Frances Schulte. Florence Kenning was born 7 January 1911 in Quincy Illinois.


R. Price Culpen and Florence Kenning married 12 June 1934 at St. Francis Catholic church.


Mr. and Mrs. Culpen owned and ran various beauty parlors in Chicago Illinois and in the state of Arizona. They later moved back to Quincy Illinois, where they owned and ran a beauty parlor at 535 North 22nd street. Mrs.Culpen worked as a beautician.


Florence Culpen belonged to St. Francis Catholic church, and to the St. Barbara branch of the Western Catholic Union.


Mrs. Culpen passed away 8 May 1977 at St. Mary hospital in Quincy Illinois. Her sister Mrs. Martha Yungk predeceased her.


Reverent Thomas Krupaski, O. F. M., led services held at St. Francis Catholic church. Interment took place at Calvary cemetery.
