Donald Lauron Abbott passed away October 17, 2017 at age 84. Donald was born in Maple Rapids, Michigan on November 23, 1932, the son of Gerald and Bertha (Roberts) Abbott.
Donald is survived by his wife of 59 years, Marjorie; children, Kenneth (Shirley), Gary (Ruth) and Cathleen Abbott; two grandchildren; sister, Lucille Paine; and brother, Richard Abbott. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Leslie and Rodney Abbott; and sisters Pauline Lowe and Doris Abbott.
A Celebration of Life will be held October 23, 2017, at Grand Ledge First United Methodist Church.
