Larry E. Winn, 76, of Turner, passed away unexpectedly, October 21, 2017 at his home.
Larry was born December 15, 1940, in Crawfordsville, Indiana the son of Abram and Mary Ellen (Wilson) Winn. Larry graduated from Clayton High School. Larry worked for Romas Trucking as a mechanic. He was also an over-the-road truck driver for Wells Trucking, Chesty Foods and Dave Stigler. His last job was for Walmart Fleet Shop in Fleet Maintenance and retired in 2003.
Larry married Shirley Woolery. She preceded him in death in 2015 after 56 years. Larry was also preceded in death by his parents Abram and Mary Ellen Winn; siblings: Alice, Patti, Marjorie, Butch “Al”, and Donnie.
Larry is survived by Mary Aaron (George) of Jasonville, Larry Douglas Winn of Brazil, Kimberly Winn Lovett of Carbon, Daniel E. Winn, Lisa Glenn of Brazil, Raymond R.J. Winn and fiancé Jacqueline; grandchildren: Suzzanne Shafer (Jamie), Michael O’Neal (Stephanie), Brandon Winn, Kyle Winn, Dennis Lee Lovett, Willard “Willie” Chatham, Whitney Ridling, Staci Willyard – Winn; a brother Jim Winn and sister-in-law Sharon Sears; many great-grandchildren and extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be at French Funeral Home, 421 E. National Ave. Brazil, Indiana 47834, Thursday, October 26, 2017 from 4-8pm. Services will be at the funeral home, Friday, at 1:00pm. Burial will follow at Clearview Cemetery.
