Marvin E. Harrelson Sr., age 92, of Sedalia, died on Tuesday, November 14, 2017.

Funeral services with honors by the Patriot Guard Riders, will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 18, at Heckart Funeral Home in Sedalia. Burial with full military honors by the U.S. Army and VFW Post 2591, will be in Highland Sacred Gardens in Sedalia.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, November 17, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Crossroads Hospice.

Survivors include his son, Marvin E. Harrelson Jr. and wife Susan of Sedalia; two daughters, Barbara and husband Dean Sallee of Sedalia, and Donna King of Sedalia; two stepdaughters, Diana Durrill and Linda Blankenship; stepson, Curtus Ray Warner; five grandchildren: two grandsons, Zack King and Josh Sallee, three granddaughters, Leslie Harrelson, Dana (Evan) Shrock, Rachel (Daryl) Hayworth; five great granddaughters, Lauren, Emily, and Kinley King, and Haley and Sara Schrock; one step-granddaughter, Jennifer (Jared) Page; and one step great-granddaughter, Jessica Todd.

Including his parents, Rich and Otha (Elam) Harrelson, and wives,Vonda Cunningham and Ruth Horn, he was preceded in death by two brothers, three sisters, three brothers-in-law; two sisters-in-law; and a grandson, William Joseph Buchholz.
