Larned -- Janet L. Adams, 76, passed away June 25, 2017 at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita, Kansas. She was born March 22, 1941 in Garden City, the daughter of Guy and Ruth Proffitt Cronenberg. A longtime area resident; she was a homemaker.

On December 12, 1998 she married Fred Adams, he survives.

Other survivors include; two sons, Darin (Brenda) Bryant, Great Bend and Lyle (Kerry) Bryant, Minneola; a daughter, Gina (Gerald) Hickman, Great Bend; three step-daughters, Vernell (Randy) Major, JoLores Karabatsos and Michelle Dunnagan; a step-son, Kyle (Rita) Adams; a sister, Connie Harsha, Garden City; seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren and thirteen step-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by; a sister, Carol Mead.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Beckwith Mortuary with Alan Mead presiding. Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday with family present from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Saint Joseph Cemetery, Hays, Kansas.

Memorials may be given to the Susan G. Komen Fund or the American Legion Baseball, both in care of Beckwith Mortuary, P.O. Box 477, Larned, KS 67550.
