Frankie Reynolds Abnee, age 57, passed away on Saturday, December 15, 2012, at his home. A native of Nicholas County, Kentucky, he was born July 27, 1955. He had worked as a welder and was a life-long farmer.

 

Survivors include: his mother, Evalyn McDonald Abnee; a son, Josh Abnee; a daughter, Jenna Abnee; a brother, Ronnie Abnee; two sisters, Laura Boone and Tina Abnee; two grandchildren, Kain Abnee and Parker Bennett; two nieces, Angel Lutes and Jessica Boone; and four great-nieces and great-nephews, Tristan Watkins, Alyssa Watkins, Andrew Watkins and Peyton Boone, all of Carlisle. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Abnee.

 

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home by Bro. Phillip Mattox. Burial will follow at Barterville Cemetery. Visitation is after 6:00 p.m. Tuesday. Memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
